Surfing started back in 12^th century Polynesia. It then was brought to Hawaii and became popularized and now surfing is found all across the world. Some of the techniques of surfing are very elegant. Duck Diving is one of those technique that when done correctly makes the surfer look graceful. This print depicts a surfer with her board and the waves are rushing over her flowing hair. The painting comes alive with the use of bright colors and dark shade contrast.
