The D'Addario Humidipak Two-Way Control Humidification System helps to maintain the proper humidity level for musical instruments such as guitars, mandolins, violins, and ukuleles. It consists of specially designed packets filled with a gel-like substance that can absorb or release moisture as needed to maintain a stable humidity level.

The system works by placing the packets inside the instrument case, in the soundhole or under the instrument’s neck. The packets contain a patented technology called the Two-Way Humidity Control system, which responds to changes in the surrounding environment. If the humidity is too low, the packets release moisture into the air to raise the humidity level. If the humidity is too high, they absorb excess moisture, helping to prevent damage to the instrument.
