Kamaka means exceptional ukulele materials, craftsmanship, playability and sound.
Since 1916, the Kamaka Family has been making ukuleles in Hawaii. Their instruments are regarded as the standard in high quality, Hawaiian ukuleles. Kamaka’s Tenor Ukulele is its most popular model. As with all Kamaka ukuleles, the Tenor is made from Hawaiian Koa and finished with a beautiful and durable lacquer finish that highlights the wood’s singular grain. The neck is made from premium mahogany. The fretboard and bridge are made from rosewood. All models include a custom hard-shell case with Kamaka logo.
