Kim Taylor Reece captures a hula dancer's emotional expression in his artfully designed “Kuulei” Rattan Lamp. “Kuulei” means “precious" in Hawaiian. The lamp depicts a hula dancer raising her hands to the heavens while connecting to the land beneath her feet. It's made of cold cast resin poured into a mold and then hand-painted with a "bronze-like" finish.

The award-winning photographer Kim Taylor Reece has studied Hawai'i's Hula Kahiko for 40 years and has created beautiful artworks to express the true Aloha spirit. Reece uses his color blindness as an advantage by using sepia tones in his work.
