The Spirit of the Hula Embodied in Brass and Beauty
This beautiful "Ku'ulei" Bronze Hula Girl Statuette's is designed by one of Hawaii's favorite local artists, Kim Taylor Reece. Ku'ulei is Hawaiian for "my flower". This statuette is crafted in the image of a Hawaiian wahine with her arms stretched out to the sky as she dances a traditional hula.

The award-winning photographer, Kim Taylor Reece, has studied Hawai'i's Hula Kahiko for 40 years and has created beautiful artworks to capture the true Aloha spirit. Reece uses his color blindness as an advantage by using sepia tones to represent the timelessness of the dance.
